New Look!
It's that time of year again, where for some arbitrary reason or another I remember that I have a beer blog. As you may have noticed, it now looks different (although I'd be impressed if you actually remember what the old one looked like). So since I'm now upgraded to the latest version of wordpress and have installed a fancy new theme and made commenting easier etc... I suppose I'll start blogging about beer again. There have been some exciting new developments in my personal life with regard to beer. Specifically, the opening of a fantastic new ginormous liqueur store not too far from me with a rather large selection of outstanding beers. Also, I've recently discovered the Sam Adams Barrel Room Collection which I'll get on asap.
It's a bit early for drinking so I'll leave things here for the moment. I'll try and come back with a new beer before the Mayan calendar expires.

So I was picking up a few new shirts the other day and I came across the most useful hat ever! I'm usually not a hat wearer, but I'm reconsidering my stance on personal head coverings after picking up this thing. BTW, I used this to open the Wachusett Country Ale I just wrote about!
Happy 75th Prohibition Repealment Day!
I realize I've been neglecting my blog of late, and for that I apologize. Fear not, however, as I promise you I have been drinking! The problem is, many of the beers I've had lately have already been blogged about, and the rest of the drink I've consumed has been mostly either Gin or Grain (nothing like a nice grain and coolaid punch). But what better day for a resurrection of an alcohol related service than on the 75th anniversary of the recognition of America's right to get hammered? Thats right, on this auspicious day in 1933, after having been sworn in barely a month prior, a ballsy FDR stood before a parched nation and decreed that we shall go thirsty no longer! Now thats a politician I can stand behind! So to all you Americans out there: go grab yourself an adult beverage of some kind, sit back and enjoy your right to kill braincells as you see fit. And if you're not an American, well then i dunno, grab a beer and celebrate anyway, cause hell, its a good excuse to drink!

So you may have noticed my blog looks a bit different... and if you haven't noticed well then you're just dumb. Anyway I'm still working out some kinks and customizing the whole thing so don't be alarmed, but if you do get alarmed then just take a deep breath and go grab a beer. Need a recommendation? Well you've come to the right place. For general alarm-ment, I recommend something thats not too out there; something you're familiar with that will comfort you. Perhaps the silky smooth texture of a Boddingtons will put you at ease. In fact, I know it will.
So its settled then, I'm going to finish making some changes here and you're going to go get a Boddingtons.
Go... now. I'll be here when you finish. But take your time, damnit! PHP editing isnt' easy, and Boddingtons is meant to be enjoyed slowly. So go away now, I have work to do and you have beer to drink.
