Homebrew – Irish Stout
Having been a fan of beer for some time now, I recently decided it was high time to stop relying on the labors of others and give homebrewing a shot. So last weekend, armed with the latest in beginner brewing kits and aided by an experienced friend, I embarked on what what would be a weekend wrought with numerous close calls and ultimately destined for catastrophic failure.
Leinenkugel’s – Fireside Nut Brown

At long last, back to the beer blog. There have been many changes in my life of late, yet sweet sweet beer has been a constant throughout my recent turmoil. An anchor, if you will; helping me to keep a foothold in reality while many significant aspects of my life shuffled around. And now that things have settled down, I feel I'm indebted to my beloved beer for helping me to keep my head clear at times, and enabling me to fuzz it up when necessary. So for this most recent jump back into the realm of bloggery, I've decided to go with Leinenkugel's Fireside Nut Brown.
Harpoon – Summer

It's a bit late in the year for a summer beer, but I thought it may be appropriate since I'm a bit late in general in terms of my frequency of beer blogging. So for my third or fourth return to this beer blog, I've decided to go with Harpoon's Summer beer.
Widmer – Hefeweizen

Ahh Hefeweizen; sweet, often delicious, unfiltered wheat beer...
So I was picking up a 30 rack of some cheap domestic pee in a can the other day (not for me, I promise!) and I thought I may as well get something I haven't had before to keep this whole blog thing going. As you may have surmised by the title of this post, today's beer will be a hefeweizen by Widmer.
Miller – High Life

Once again I have decided to resurrect my forgotten blog of neglect. I'll spare you the apologies and empty promises of past posts and get right into it...
I thought long and hard about my selection for said blog resurrection and concluded that this was an occasion of celebration and rejoicing. And 'what is the obligatory drink of celebration' I asked myself, to which I promptly replied 'champagne of course!'. Since this is a beer blog, why not review the "Champagne of Beers"? And this is how it comes to pass that I am sitting at my computer at 2:30 on a Monday afternoon, defiling myself with Miller High Life.
